Privacy Policy
TrendGuru (trend.guru) is operated by Pattern Void LLC, a limited liability company registered in Georgia (identification number 445864583, LEPL National Agency of Public Registry, 24 September 2026), Zhiuli Shartava Avenue, Block B, Floor 36, Apartment 896, Batumi, Georgia. It is a social media publishing API and dashboard. This policy explains what data the service stores when you create an account, connect social media accounts and publish content, and how you can delete it.
1. Account data
When you sign up we store your email address, display name, a password hash (if you use a password) and the identifiers returned by Google Sign-In or the Telegram Login Widget when you use them (Google account id, Telegram user id, profile photo URL). We never receive or store your Google or Telegram password.
2. Connected social accounts
When you connect an Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X or LinkedIn account through OAuth, the platform sends TrendGuru an access token and, where available, a refresh token, together with the public profile of the account (platform user id, username, display name, avatar URL, follower count). Tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and are used only to publish the content you submit, to refresh expired tokens, and to read the statistics described in section 5: account totals (followers, following, posts, likes, views), the public engagement counters of the account's most recent posts, and — where you granted it — the platform's own daily statistics for the account. TrendGuru does not read your inbox, direct messages, comments or private content and does not post anything you did not create.
3. Google user data
This section describes exactly what raw and aggregated or anonymized Google user data TrendGuru accesses, how that data is used, and how it is secured and protected.
3.1 What Google user data is accessed
Raw Google user data. TrendGuru requests these OAuth scopes and nothing else:
openid,userinfo.email,userinfo.profile— used only to sign you in to TrendGuru. We store your Google account id, email address, display name and profile picture URL so the dashboard can recognise you on your next visit.youtube.readonly— used to read the public details of the YouTube channel you connect (channel id, title, handle, avatar, subscriber, view and video counts) so the dashboard can label the connection and show channel totals, to list your playlists so you can choose one when publishing, and to read the title, thumbnail, publish date and public view, like and comment counts of the channel's 50 most recent uploads so they can be shown on your analytics screen.yt-analytics.readonly— used to read your channel's daily YouTube Analytics totals: views, estimated minutes watched, average view duration, likes, comments, shares, subscribers gained and lost, and thumbnail impressions with their click-through rate. These are shown only on your own analytics screen. This scope is requested only when you connect a channel after it is enabled; channels connected earlier keep working without it.youtube.upload— used to upload the video file and the title, description, tags, category, playlist and privacy setting that you submit in the TrendGuru composer or through the TrendGuru API. Nothing is uploaded that you did not submit.youtube.force-ssl— used for three actions on content you created through TrendGuru: posting the first comment you wrote together with the post, adding the uploaded video to the playlist you selected, and deleting that video when you delete the post in TrendGuru. No narrower YouTube scope covers comment insert, playlist insert or delete.
Aggregated and anonymized Google user data. The aggregated data TrendGuru accesses is: the public counters that the YouTube Data API reports for the connected channel (subscriber, view and video counts) and for its 50 most recent uploads (view, like and comment counts), and the channel-level daily totals from the YouTube Analytics API listed above. These are totals produced by YouTube itself; TrendGuru receives no per-viewer records, no demographics, no watch history and no personally identifiable information about viewers. TrendGuru does not anonymize Google user data for any further purpose and does not derive additional datasets from it.
TrendGuru does not read your Gmail, Drive, Contacts, Calendar or any other Google service, does not read comment text, ratings, captions, video files or private videos, does not read per-viewer or demographic reports, and does not act on your channel unless you ask it to by creating a post.
3.2 How Google user data is used
Raw data. Google user data is used solely to provide the features you requested: signing in, showing your connected channel, publishing the content you submit, showing its metrics and removing it when you ask. It is never used for advertising or ad targeting, never sold, never transferred to third parties for their own purposes, never used to build profiles, and never used to train machine-learning or AI models. Human beings do not read your content except where you explicitly ask support for help with a specific post, or where the law requires it.
Aggregated and anonymized data. The counters and daily totals described above are used only to render your own analytics screens — channel totals, follower history, daily charts, per-video metrics and comparisons between your own connected accounts inside your TrendGuru account. They are not combined with data from other users, not published, not shared, not sold and not used for advertising, benchmarking or model training.
3.3 How Google user data is secured and protected
OAuth access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM using a key held only on the server and are never returned by the TrendGuru API. All traffic runs over HTTPS with TLS 1.2 or newer. Data is isolated per account: only your own login and the API keys you issue can reach it, and API keys are stored as SHA-256 hashes. Servers are hosted in the European Union, access to them is restricted to the operator over key-based SSH, database credentials are separated per service role, and uploaded media files are deleted from our servers seven days after publishing. Request logs keep no content, only method, path, status, duration and error message, and are deleted after 30 days.
Retention and revocation. Disconnecting a YouTube account in Dashboard → Connections destroys the stored tokens immediately. You can also revoke TrendGuru's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Deleting your TrendGuru account removes all Google user data described above.
Limited Use. TrendGuru's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. Content you publish
Posts, captions, per-platform options, uploaded media files and the resulting platform post ids and URLs are stored so that you can see status, retry failures, read analytics and delete posts. Media files are stored on TrendGuru servers until you delete them or the account.
5. Analytics
To show account analytics, TrendGuru reads each connected account about every six hours: account totals (followers, following, posts, and where the platform reports them, total likes and views), and the public engagement counters of the account's 50 most recent posts, including posts that were not made through TrendGuru (likes, comments, shares, saves, views and, where the platform provides them, reach and impressions), together with the post link, caption excerpt, thumbnail and publish date. Where you granted a platform's analytics permission, TrendGuru also reads that platform's daily account totals. These numbers are stored per day so the dashboard can show changes over time. No data about other people is stored beyond the aggregate numbers the platform reports. Disconnecting an account deletes all of these records for it.
6. Logs
API requests are logged with method, path, status code, duration, IP address, API key id and error message for 30 days, then deleted automatically. Webhook deliveries keep request and response summaries for the same period.
7. Sharing
Data is shared only with the platforms you connected, and only to the extent required to publish your content and read its metrics. TrendGuru does not sell data, does not use it for advertising and does not share it with third parties for their own purposes. Hosting runs on servers in the European Union.
8. Deleting your data
- Disconnect an account in Dashboard → Connections (or
DELETE /v1/accounts/{id}). The stored tokens are destroyed immediately and TrendGuru can no longer act on that account. You can also revoke TrendGuru in the platform's own connected-apps settings. - Delete posts and media from the dashboard or with
DELETE /v1/posts/{id}andDELETE /v1/media/{id}. - Delete your whole account from Dashboard → Settings → Danger zone, or send a request from the email connected to the account to info@trend.guru. All accounts, tokens, posts, media, webhooks, keys and logs are removed within 30 days; backups expire after another 30 days.
Requests coming from a platform's data-deletion callback (for example Meta's deletion request) are processed the same way and confirmed with a status URL.
9. Cookies
The dashboard uses one cookie, tg_session, which keeps you signed in. The public website sets no tracking cookies and uses no third-party analytics.
10. Platform terms
Use of each platform through TrendGuru is also subject to that platform's own terms, including the YouTube API Services Terms and Google Privacy Policy, the Meta Privacy Policy, the TikTok Privacy Policy, the X Privacy Policy and the LinkedIn Privacy Policy.
