Terms of Service
These terms govern the use of TrendGuru, the social media publishing API and dashboard at trend.guru. By creating an account or calling the API you agree to them.
1. The service
TrendGuru lets you connect social media accounts you own or are authorized to manage and publish, schedule and analyze posts on them through a REST API and a web dashboard. The service is in public beta: features may change, and availability is not guaranteed.
2. Your accounts and content
You may connect only accounts you own or have explicit permission to manage. You are responsible for everything published through your TrendGuru account and API keys, and for complying with each platform's terms and community guidelines. Keep API keys secret; anything done with a key is treated as done by you.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use TrendGuru for spam, coordinated inauthentic behaviour, harassment, illegal content, malware, scraping platform data, buying or selling engagement, or circumventing platform limits. TrendGuru may suspend accounts that violate these rules or that cause a platform to restrict TrendGuru's API access.
4. Platform terms
Publishing to YouTube uses YouTube API Services and is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. Publishing to Instagram and Facebook is subject to the Meta Platform Terms. TikTok, X and LinkedIn publishing is subject to those platforms' developer and user terms. Platform rules on content, frequency and media formats apply and may cause a post to be rejected.
5. Pricing
The public beta is free of charge with no limits on profiles, accounts, posts, webhooks or analytics. Paid plans will be announced in the dashboard before they take effect; nothing is charged without your explicit agreement.
6. Data
How data is stored and deleted is described in the Privacy Policy. You can disconnect accounts, delete posts and media, or delete your whole account at any time.
7. Availability and liability
TrendGuru is provided as is. We work to publish on time and to report failures accurately, but we do not guarantee that a platform will accept a post, that scheduled times will be met exactly, or that the service will be uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, TrendGuru is not liable for indirect damages, lost revenue or platform actions taken against your accounts.
8. Termination
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. On termination, stored tokens are destroyed and data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
